The magnificent theater of the ancient city, built on colonnaded arches, is the largest in the whole area. Other monuments include the Agora, the Temple of Apollo, which is situated near the sea, a fountain and Necropolis. The extensive Roman baths, now a museum, houses one of Turkey's finest archeological collections. After some free time on your own in Side, you will return to Antalya.

Itinerary:
Day 1: Ankara - Cappadocia (D)
Depart in the morning and drive to Cappadocia along the picturesque Salt Lake. After lunch, visit to a 13th century Seljukian Caravanserai Aggzikarahan on the ancient Silk Road. Then continue to Kaymakli Underground City, the place early Christians hid from persecutors. After visiting Pigeon Valley, one of the most colorful points check-in to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Cappadocia - Ankara (B, L)
After breakfast in the hotel, drive to Uchisar and then proceed to the Open Air Museum in Goreme through Avcilar Valley and visit the early Christian churches decorated with unique frescoes depicting various scenes from the Bible. Finally, you'll visit the Zelve region and Avanos and enjoy some free time for shopping as the area is well-known for its handicrafts such as carpet, onyx and pottery making. Return to Ankara and transfer to the city center hotel of your choice.
